André Luiz Brandão received his Doctor of Science degree at Universidade Federal Fluminense. He received his Master of Science degree at Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR) in 2006 and his Bachelor degree in Computer Science at Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM) in 2003. Since 2009, he has coordinated the Jecripe Project ( whose product are serious games research for children with disabilities. André is also External Researcher of the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence and worked there from September 2011 until February 2012 with DAAD financial support. Nowadays, André is an University Professor at Federal University of ABC, in Sao Paulo State, Brazil. André has experience in digital games development, e-learning, human-computer interaction and computer vision research.
